Zach and I found an Oakton pH Electrode in the South Utility Room. The green and white Oakton device was reading accurately yesterday. So I believe this is our best way to calculate pH for the COOLING TOWERS.
Since this device is pretty fragile, it may not be the best idea to carry back and forth from the North utility room. If the pH of a north cooling tower is in doubt, its probably easiest to use the pH electrode located in the lab in production.
Testing of the retorts can continue as we’ve been doing with the Hach 820 device and pH strips for the boilers.
